Not much to say, I have always wanted to be a filmmaker – well that’s a lie I used to want to be a DJ/Music Producer, but then I realised that music making software is just bullshit and I haven’t the time to really bother with those things. Ok it’s not bullshit I just can’t really bother to learn it.
Enough waffling… So I love film, so much that I own countless DVDs, literally countless. (I still have a few 100 I haven’t seen)
I have many strengths and weakness in filmmaking – with my weaknesses almost outweighing my strengths. I have always been a lazy individual so when it comes to meeting deadlines I can always make sure that I won’t meet them, and though a shame it is at least I’m not lying to myself.
To mention my strengths would also be beneficiary to myself. I have an imagination it ranges from shit to shittah or from good to goodah depending on my mood, at points ideas come to my head like lightning and unless i right down those ideas as soon as then I forget them and just give up and then there goes another hypothetical film.
I love shooting films so much, it is amazing but what I said earlier about being lazy is that I never storyboard my film I always just imagine a shot in my mind and think yeah, that will work, or no that won’t work – all in all i struggle in that way, though fortunately im open to most ideas and my friends normally sort out any plotholes I could possibly have if there are any.
Finally, if anyone does happen to read this for god knows what reason, it’s pretty much a ting I made init. At the moment, I’m thinking to actually just keep it to record a whole lot of different films and opportunities that i happen to run into, I guess I won’t post a lot but every time I do something very relevant I will post it.
